NDIS Arts Therapy

We’re an allied health service and registered NDIS provider.

Anyone with an approved NDIS plan can access arts therapy under the Scheme. We can tailor an innovative arts therapy program to help each person reach their goals.

Whether self-managed or plan-managed under the NDIS, all participants have the freedom to choose the arts therapist they want to see.

Through creative arts therapy, we‘ve helped many people improve their ability to learn and process and understand information. Arts therapy also helps improve emotional capacity and increases social skills, leading to happier and healthier relationships.

Arts therapy can also improve a person’s overall mental health and wellbeing by decreasing stress, anxiety, depression, and their symptoms.

The process under the NDIS

After an initial assessment, we map out a plan for all NDIS participants. We usually recommend a block of 8 to 10 sessions so we can work on small to medium-sized goals. This is followed by a further assessment after those sessions conclude.

Next, we write a data-driven report that examines the assessment metrics alongside the therapies we provided.

We know that positive, long-term change takes time. Our assessment and reporting process helps make it easier to set and monitor short, medium and longer-term goals and secure further funding to help a person progress towards those goals.
