The World Health Organisation estimates that depression will be the number one health concern in both developed and developing nations by 2030. According to The Australian Burden of Disease study 2015 has ranked Depression the seventh highest disease burden. Key symptoms of depression include: low mood, lack of motivation, loss of interest or pleasure, hopelessness, withdrawal or isolation. Self harm and suicidal ideation can accompany severe and prolonged depression.

Maximising the healing qualities of art, we have integrated the arts into our individual arts therapy programs. Using art media and specific creative methods, we encourage children, teens or adults who are experiencing depression to increase vitality and engagement in life through the power of self expression. Sessions are designed to bring back joy, ease, vitality, and connection to self and others.
